Hao Mingxuan, a surrealist, currently a full-time teacher of photography at Sichuan College of Culture and Arts. He obtained his MA in Photography from the University of Sussex in 2021.

His theoretical research includes the historical theory of photography (modernism, surrealism in Europe and North America), photography and ideology, and vernacular photography.
